Dental Materials: Quality You Can See and Feel

From proven metal-ceramic to cutting-edge, metal-free zirconia.
We use only certified materials, for your safety.

Choosing the right material is crucial for the longevity of your restoration, your general health and, of course, an aesthetic result. At the CompletDent dental clinic in Budapest, we make no compromises. We work closely with our in-house master laboratory to select the biologically and functionally best material for each patient. Zirconia: the ‘white gold’ of dentistry

Zirconia is a metal-free high-performance material regarded as the benchmark in modern dentistry. Thanks to CAD/CAM technology, we can craft restorations from it with extreme precision.
Advantages of zirconia:

  • Superior aesthetics: Translucent like natural enamel.
  • 100% biocompatible: No allergies, no interactions with other metals in the mouth.
  • No dark margins: Even with gum recession, no dark metal edges become visible.
  • Extremely strong: Stronger than many metal alloys – ideal even for large bridges on back teeth.

Porcelain-fused-to-metal (PFM): the proven standard

Porcelain-fused-to-metal is the classic in tooth replacement. A strong framework of non-precious alloy is made individually for you, then completely veneered with tooth-coloured ceramic.
Key properties:

  • High stability: Clinically proven over decades.
  • Cost efficiency: The best value for money for budget-conscious patients.
  • Good aesthetics: The ceramic layer is precisely shade-matched to your neighbouring teeth.

Safety through certification

All materials used at the CompletDent clinic are CE-certified and come from the world’s leading manufacturers (e.g. Ivoclar Vivadent, Vita, Nobel Biocare). With every restoration you receive a material passport, documenting every component in detail. This gives you safety and transparency for your records – and for your insurer, if needed.

FAQ – Common questions about materials

In that case we always recommend zirconia (all-ceramic), as it is fully biocompatible and causes no allergic reactions.

No. Premium dental ceramic is colour-stable and doesn’t absorb pigments from food or tobacco.

In terms of fracture resistance, modern zirconia is comparable to metal – with the added advantage that it doesn’t corrode.
