Telescopic Dentures in Budapest — Maximum Hold, Natural Comfort

The premium alternative to a conventional partial denture.
Enjoy the security of a fixed solution with the flexibility of a removable one.

The telescopic denture is one of the most comfortable and aesthetic solutions in combined tooth replacement. For patients who still have some of their own teeth, it offers an exceptionally firm fit with no unsightly metal clasps. At the CompletDent dental clinic in Budapest, we craft telescopic restorations with the highest precision in our own master laboratory – so it feels like having your own teeth again.

What is a telescopic denture?

Telescopic dentures work on the ‘double crown’ principle. Your remaining anchor teeth are fitted with wafer-thin primary crowns made of gold or a non-precious alloy. The denture itself contains precisely matching secondary crowns (outer telescopes). When inserted, these slide together like a telescope and hold extremely securely through friction.

The advantages of telescopic dentures

Why patients love telescopic dentures

  • Secure hold: No wobbling or slipping when eating or speaking.
  • Outstanding aesthetics: No visible clasps – the denture blends invisibly into your smile.
  • Extendable: If another tooth is lost later, the denture can usually be adapted without difficulty.
  • Easy cleaning: Because the denture is removable, you can keep the anchor teeth perfectly clean.
  • Even load distribution: Chewing forces are transferred along the axis of the remaining teeth, minimising bone loss.

FAQ – Common questions

Allow around 7 to 10 working days for a premium telescopic denture, as several try-ins and precise laboratory work are needed.

In principle the denture can be worn at night too, but we recommend regular cleaning after meals.

Some UK private dental plans contribute towards treatment abroad – check your policy. Either way, we provide a fully itemised treatment and cost plan that you can submit to your insurer.
